This part-time role involves teaching Business and Economics to students in Years 9–11. The load is 0.6–0.7 FTE, spread across four days a week (with Tuesdays likely to be non-teaching). The role is a fixed-term contract until the end of the year, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that equip students with a strong understanding of business concepts, economic thinking, and real-world application.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver effective and engaging curriculum-aligned Business and Economics lessons to Years 9–11

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students by following the school’s safeguarding policies

Foster strong communication with students, families, and colleagues to support learning outcomes

Work collaboratively with team members to contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment

Model professionalism and leadership in the classroom and across the school community
- Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) registration
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
