About the Position
This ongoing, full-time position, commencing in Term 2 or sooner, involves teaching Economics across all year levels. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that build students’ understanding of economic concepts and financial literacy. This is a unique opportunity for an Economics teacher to thrive in a regional Christian school setting while making a meaningful impact on student learning.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging Economics lessons across multiple year levels in line with curriculum outcomes

  • Uphold student safety and well-being in accordance with the school’s safeguarding policies

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with students, families, and colleagues

  • Collaborate with staff to support a cohesive academic and faith-based learning environment

  • Demonstrate classroom leadership that supports student engagement and growth


Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain QLD Teacher Registration (QCT)

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
