About the Role

This full-time position, commencing as soon as possible, involves teaching Business and Economics across year groups to be confirmed. The successful educator will join a collaborative Humanities faculty committed to delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned programs that develop students’ analytical thinking, financial literacy, and understanding of economic systems. The role suits a teacher who values structure, strong communication, and contributing positively to the broader school community.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Business and Economics programs aligned to the relevant ACT curriculum

  • Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment with a strong focus on student wellbeing

  • Use assessment data to inform planning and differentiate for diverse learners

  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress

  • Contribute to faculty collaboration and broader school initiatives

Requirements

  • Registration with, or eligibility for, the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI)

  • Full Australian working rights

  • Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
