About the Position

An exciting opportunity is available for a passionate Arts Teacher. Commencing in Term 1, 2027, this ongoing position will see you inspire students through engaging performing arts programs while contributing to the wider life of the College. The successful candidate will foster creativity, confidence and collaboration, creating meaningful learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Dance and Drama programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment with a strong commitment to child safeguarding and student wellbeing.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues through effective communication.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to contribute to curriculum planning and the broader College community.
  • Support the co-curricular life of the College, including performances, productions and school events.

Requirements

  • Relevant teaching qualifications and eligibility for Queensland teacher registration.
  • Current Australian work rights or eligibility to obtain them.
  • A commitment to student wellbeing, professional practice and safeguarding responsibilities.
