About the Position
The school is seeking a dynamic and flexible Arts teacher to commence as soon as possible for the remainder of the 2025 school year. This role covers all strands of the Arts—including Music, Visual Arts, Drama, Media Arts, and Dance—across the primary years. The successful candidate will also take the lead in driving the school’s Arts program, including extracurricular and performance-based opportunities.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Curriculum – Deliver engaging and age-appropriate programs across all Arts disciplines

  • Safeguarding – Promote student wellbeing and adhere to Child Safe Standards

  • Communication – Engage positively with students, staff, and families

  • Collaboration – Coordinate with staff to support performances and events

  • Leadership – Champion the Arts program and extracurricular activities

Requirements
  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NT Teacher Registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
