About the Position
This part-time position is offered across two days per week (Thursday and Friday) and includes teaching Year 8 Science and Year 10 Mathematics. The teaching load consists of three Year 8 Science periods and four Year 10 Mathematics periods each week, with curriculum, assessments and teaching resources already prepared. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Science and Mathematics colleagues, with ongoing support from faculty leaders and the Assistant Principal – Curriculum for assessment, reporting and planning.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Year 8 Science and Year 10 Mathematics lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.

Assess, mark and report on student progress with support from faculty leadership.

Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing.

Collaborate with Science and Mathematics teaching teams using shared curriculum resources.

Undertake allocated yard duty and additional supervision responsibilities as required.

Registration: Current VIT registration or eligibility to obtain registration.

Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
