Hello, I'm Terry, Co-Founder of HARKE Recruitment. Over my 12-year journey in education recruitment, from the UK to Australia, I've come to see education as the cornerstone of progress. While I’m not teaching in the classroom, my role in guiding teachers to where they can thrive is pivotal in shaping young minds.

I still remember the moment I realised the true impact of our work – when a teacher we placed transformed a challenging classroom into a hub of learning and excitement. It's these moments that drive us at HARKE. Our approach is all about continuous learning, ensuring we connect schools with teachers who excel in their roles and ignite a passion for learning in their students. There's nothing more rewarding than knowing we're making a real difference in the education sector, supporting schools, empowering teachers, and indirectly enriching students' lives.

  • A passion of mine is cooking, and I love experimenting with different flavours and ingredients.
  • 6 months ago, I set a new life goal, which is to live until 120 years old, which has sent me on an exciting journey in all things wellness-related.
  • I recently found out that I have one leg, which is approx. 12mm shorter than the other.
